Three Business Sponsors Back Youth Face Launch

4 September 20263 min read

As Youth Face prepares to launch this September, three local businesses - Krave, Charcoal Grill and Little Dessert Shop Rochdale - are stepping forward as sponsors, donating food to underprivileged and underrepresented young people in an area with some of the highest rates of relative child poverty in the UK, where roughly 43.6% to 44% of children live in low-income households.

Youth Face, the youth-led initiative founded by Here for Youth and Taqwa Institute following the training of 17 youth workers, is preparing to launch this September - and three local businesses are backing it from day one.

Krave, Charcoal Grill and Little Dessert Shop Rochdale are joining as sponsors, donating food to support underprivileged and underrepresented young people at the launch.

The initiative is based in an area with some of the highest rates of relative child poverty in the UK, where roughly 43.6% to 44% of children live in low-income households. These generous donations will help ensure that every young person can take part, be welcomed and be fed, regardless of their circumstances.

This sponsorship reflects the power of local businesses coming together with community organisations to make a real difference in the lives of young people. Youth Face focuses on mentoring, wellbeing, leadership and meaningful community engagement, and the support of partners like Krave, Charcoal Grill and Little Dessert Shop Rochdale strengthens its ability to serve the young people who need it most.
