Research and Innovation Partnership to Advance Islamic Education

A collaborative research partnership will undertake joint educational research, publish white papers and academic articles, develop evidence-based curricula, present at international conferences and work towards an internationally recognised Centre for Research and Innovation in Islamic Education.

Taqwa Institute, Sidr School and Sidr Productions will establish a collaborative research and innovation partnership to advance the field of Islamic education. Areas of collaboration include research into effective Islamic educational practices, child development and faith-based learning, literacy and language acquisition, Qur’anic pedagogy and Hifz education, SEND and inclusive education, educational technology and AI in Islamic learning, creativity, storytelling and the arts in education, and character education and tarbiyah.

Together, the organisations will undertake joint educational research projects, publish white papers, books and academic articles, develop evidence-based curricula and teacher resources, present research findings at international conferences, collaborate with universities and research organisations, and evaluate the impact of programmes through ongoing research and data analysis.

The long-term vision is to establish an internationally recognised Centre for Research and Innovation in Islamic Education, bringing together educators, researchers, schools, publishers and technology specialists to shape the future of Muslim education globally.
