Taqwa Institute has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with the Global Center for Teaching Arabic to Speakers of Other Languages at the University of Prince Mugrin in Madinah, Saudi Arabia — represented by its sole operator, Centergate for Excellence — to promote the teaching and learning of Arabic and foster cultural and educational exchange between the United Kingdom and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Taqwa Institute and the Global Center for Teaching Arabic to Speakers of Other Languages at the University of Prince Mugrin, represented by its sole operator Centergate for Excellence, have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The MoU, entered into as of February 27th, 2026, establishes a framework for cooperative activities between the two organisations, seeking to promote the teaching and learning of Arabic and to foster cultural and educational exchange between the United Kingdom and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Areas of collaboration will be mutually agreed upon in writing by both parties and formalised in separate agreements as needed, with each party designating a liaison officer to coordinate collaborative activities. The MoU does not obligate either party to expend funds — any financial arrangements or commitments will be detailed in subsequent agreements as mutually determined.
The MoU is effective upon signature by the authorised representatives of both parties and remains in force for a period of three years, with either party able to terminate with six months’ written notice. Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of any proprietary or sensitive information exchanged, and each party retains ownership of its pre-existing intellectual property, with the ownership, protection, use and commercialisation of any intellectual property arising from the collaboration to be determined by a separate written agreement negotiated in good faith before the relevant project commences.
This MoU may be amended or modified only by written agreement of both parties’ authorised representatives and serves as a non-binding statement of intent that does not create any legal, financial or contractual obligations between the parties.
