Celebrating Progress on the Mats
On Thursday 11th June, at Taqwa Institute, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu belt grading ceremony for girls under 13 was delivered in partnership with SUKATA Oldham and led by Prof Thay Oliveira.
The event brought together young athletes, families, and coaches for an afternoon focused on discipline, confidence, and the values that martial arts instils both on and off the mat.
Ten New Grey and White Belts
A highlight of the ceremony was the promotion of 10 girls who moved up to grey and white belts, marking an important step forward in their training journey. Each athlete was recognised for their commitment, effort, and growth throughout the programme.
